About Me
A lifelong Houston area native, I was born and raised in Pasadena and have been a Pearland resident since 2006. I attended Texas A&M and graduated with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science and a minor in business. Upon graduation, I accepted a teaching job at my high school alma matter, Sam Rayburn. From 2004-2007, I coached basketball (one season baseball) and taught Biology.
In 2007 I decided to leave teaching behind and enter real estate. Since then my passion has been helping people get their best possible deal while buying and/or selling property all over the great state of Texas. I pride myself on being honest, easy to communicate with, a shrewd negotiator and an expert market analyst.
In 2014 I became a broker and JL Wyatt Properties was born. Since then we have worked tirelessly to assemble an all-star team of real estate professionals that share the same principals of honesty, integrity and dedication to our trade that sets us apart from other larger brokerages. We take a team work approach with our clients to ensure that all needs are met and satisfaction is guaranteed each and every time.
Outside of real estate my family, faith and sports are what make me go. My beautiful wife Melissa, and I have two great kids. Our daughter was born in 2009 and our son came along in 2011. Both are very active and involved in youth sports. Depending on the season, you can usually find us in a gym, football field or at a ballpark.
